Slipknot has announced that they will hit the road for the better part of two weeks prior to Knotfest, sharing the bill with Suicidal Tendencies and Beartooth along the way. The tour willstart in Bismarck, N.D. on Oct. 13, extending into Canada for three shows and primarily route along the Pacific Northwest. Just prior to Knotfest, Slipknot will also take part in the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, Calif.
Slipknot is currently headlining the “Summer’s Last Stand” tour with support from Lamb of God, Bullet for My Valentine and Motionless in White. That trek, which just got underway last week, will keep Slipknot on the road into early September. However, the band will get a nice break before jumping back on the road in October.
